The NT Server install is flawless. Service Pack 6, all the patches since, video, sound, network, the whole shebang.
The Westell Dual Connect 2100 DSL modem will work with every Windows flavor except for the first release of Win95 and... yes, you guessed it, NT 4.0. *pounds her head on the desk* Fsck this. Fsck the 950, and most DEFINITELY fsck NT Server. Tonight, after I'm back from my Dad's house, I'm ripping into the G3 and reinstalling it from the ground up: IT will become my firewall/network host. I'm tired of the continual defeats at the hands of the damned 950... I've never had a system give me so much trouble before, and it's not a pleasant sensation.
Yes, I'm having an Eric Cartman moment. My language in this post is tame compared to the stream of profaneness that's been verbalized here in the last hour. I could cheerfully shoot the engineers at Westell Corp /AND/ the people at Verizon right about now; the idea of creating an external device that's simply another piece of wintrash is evil to the nth degree.

I'll probably be tearing into this project after you've crashed tonight, and I don't want to keep you up late two nights in a row (though chatting with you was marvelous last night *smooch*), but iffn you could check tomorrow morn and see if I've lobbed questions your way, that'd be uber spiff.
I'm going to go chainsmoke now. I'm so pissed off I might light 'em backwards and smoke the filter instead.
