It's Getting Better All The Time...
Nov. 20th, 2002 09:11 amOr so the song goes. Actually, in spite of the fact that I've been up most of the night, today is better than yesterday was. The mood crash that hit me was worse than any I've had to deal with in recent memory. I'm still not sure what prompted it, though it could well be the initial hook of the new anti-depressant that I'm on. (Anyone out there that's got long-term information on Effexor XR, please drop me a line, okie?) Regardless of the trigger, it nailed me between the eyes.
Profuse apologies to those that I worried. I'm okie, honest. A bit tattered around the edges, but intact. Given that the night offered little to no sleep, I'll likely be crashing sometime in the near future. I hope. In the meantime, yesterday's mail brought a new Silouettes catalog, and a new Massey's Shoes catalog. Nightambre? Remind me to bring the Massey's catalog with me Saturday, okie? I -promise- you, they have shoes in your size.
Not sure what the glitch is with the mini Compaq; likely I've a jumper misplaced. Unfortunately, given the design of the unit, I've got to totally disassemble the silly thing to get at the mainboard. Oh well. In the meantime, I'm trying to get the old desktop unit working again. All it was lacking was a hard drive; the 8 gig XP drive from this machine is now in it. I'm craving some games, and it's the fastest way to them at the moment. Unless I want to sit and use Megan's machine. That's the fallback position.
At the moment, though, I'm -hungry-. So I'm off to forage and see what I can rustle up.
*hugs*
