Dec. 2nd, 2009 04:12 pmSo Larry, furnace technician par excellence, just pulled out. The poor bastich has four more jobs tonight before he can go home.
The blower motor's temperature threshold was set too high; it was set to 125f instead of the 110f that the furnace is capable of reaching. The blower works, it simply was never being told to turn on. I don't know if that'll be covered by yesterday's work or if I'll have to shell out the $160 for the emergency call... right this moment, I'm finding it hard to care. It's going to take a while for the trailer to warm back up, but at least it will finally do so.
Many thanks to the hugs and well-wishes here on LJ, via IM and via phone. Sometimes knowing someone cares makes all the difference in the world. Very special thanks to my Lady, who's had to deal with mopey me today.
