Jul. 25th, 2005 06:39 pmIt's been a very busy day, but a few things got taken care of.
I'm tired. My grandmother continues to rebound; she's nearly as mobile and active as she was before this last hospital visit. I think it pissed her off that the Docs were so sure she didn't have any time left, and she's too ornery to let them win. As far as I'm concerned, that's damned good news. Mom and I are slowly coming to grips with things, I think... I know grandma's dearly loved by the family, but Mom and I are the ones that have always been closest to her. I've learned an awful lot of things from her... the 'no retreat, no surrender' attitude came from her.
For my anime loving friends, I highly recommend a little twelve episode series entitled Wandaba Style. It's very cute, with heavy doses of mad science, fan service, and plain old insanity. Berserk is also high on my list, though it's more engrossing on emotional levels for me. Also on my top list is Gun X Sword. It's intriguing.
... I'm phasing in and out. Time for me to crash, I think. At the very least, it's time to wind up this goofy post.
G'nite.
- The truck is now legally mine, titled and tagged.
- Another chunk of my pride has been swallowed; the tags on the truck are of the handicapped variety.
- The parking ticket from last week got paid; I now know where the county administration building is.
- Crystal's tags, registration, and insurance card have been returned to her.
- The UDMA 100 addon card has been located and installed on Psychotron (the secondary IDE headers took a dive on me the other night).
