Well, after sitting at the train station this morning for just shy of three hours, I now know WHY Megan wasn't on her train.

The entire family, all six of them, are stranded in England. One of Megan's sisters had her purse stolen: credit cards, ID, cell phone.... and passport.

Of course, for US folk this is a holiday weekend. The US Consulate reopens... Tuesday.

*pounds head on desk*

It's a Spring Bank Holiday here, which is probably why it's closed. I'd imagine that they'd tend to follow the local holidays when it comes to fairly minor ones like that.

Shouldn't there be an emergency number they can call?

Also, why didn't she call and let you know that she wasn't going to be on the train?
