Last night proved to be one of those nights when it came to getting anything done online. We lost power twice over the course of the dark hours, both times interrupting entertaining roleplay on SMT. Fortunately, nothing seems damaged from a hardware standpoint; only the G3, monitor, and DSL modem had been turned back on when the power came back up just a bit before 2a. When things blipped off again somewhere in the 4a - 5a range, I gave up and went to bed.

Definitely on the plus side, the piercing pain in my head from saturday's techb!tch exercise has faded. I've got some hardware projects to take care of this week, but they're comparatively minor. We'll just have to see how things work out, really. A bit of careful rearranging located my Win98SE cd and the drivers for mom's computer; that needs to get done in the next few days, as she's getting twitchy about it. Then it's build up the Athlon 650 and ship that to Megan's dad, which'll get him off my arse for what could be the very last time. If things go according to plan, I might actually not even have to see the man again. Cross your fingers for me, okie?

I need to go to Pep Boys. Given the way things are looking to shake out, I desperately need to get the Mercury running again. There's an infusion of cash on the PayPal account that was given for that, but with me being down sick it never got started on. I know I need to put a battery in it, replace the trans gasket/filter, fill the trans, then do an oil change on it. At that point it should start, even though it won't idle. If it'll still fire, then I can try and grab Ashley for some help with the vacuum lines, and bust the tires off the back and put the old snow tires on it. If it actually -runs- at that point, I've got to scrounge money to get the fool thing tagged again. 'm tired of having to go to war just to get the car. I'm just not looking forward to the grunginess of fixing it.

Anywho, there're things afoot. Hrm. PB trip may have to wait until tomorrow. We'll see. Anyway, see ya!
