I spent a good bit of today cleaning my desk off. During that noble undertaking, I bolted the Athlon's case back together for the first time in eight months. It'd been running flawlessly, hardware-wise, and there was no reason for the sidepanel to sit on the floor.
Less than an hour after bolting the sidepanel on,
THE MOTHERHUMPIN POWERSUPPLY CROAKED.
Which means that the meager profits from building a new machine for my mom will NOT be going into the dishwasher fund; it'll be just barely sufficient to replace the soddamned power supply.
IS IT TOO FSCKING MUCH TO ASK FOR A SINGLE DAY WITHOUT SOMETHING GOING WRONG/BLOWING UP/BREAKING DOWN/LEAKING/WHATEVER?!
Excuse me. I'm going to go stand in the motherhumpin rain and smoke a soddamned cigarette or three and try and get hold of my temper.
