cabbitzillaYes, I've been MIA for a couple days. The few folk that know how to find me on the chat services knew I was still alive, and there were some postings on Gaia.. but nothing here. But I've been pretty strung out the last few days.
In two plus years of using the Duragesic patch at various strengths, I'd never had a defective patch... unti the one I put on this past Tuesday. I've spent the last three days on the edges of withdrawal, and have a huge spot on my right arm where the skin's so badly irritated that it's broken open and superating. I checked the new one today very carefully, and will check every patch from this point forward; I can't do another block of days like that...
I'm approaching a more normal headspace for myself now, though. Trying to get caught up on email, LiveJournal, and Gaia. My mood's better as well... not sure if that's the Lamictal finally starting to kick in or having a good patch on. Personally, I don't care -which- it is, I'm just glad to have my head free of the fog.
At any rate, that's about all that's going on with me. I've got a couple more packages I need to get installed on this machine (xdaliclock and trebuchet chief among them), and there's the ever present laundry to get caught up on, but I'm confident I can get most of it knocked out by mid day tomorrow. Well, mid day for me, anyway. :p
