Well. I may have 'appropriated' a brand new screen door for the front of the house. *chuckle* Making friends with the guys doing construction next door may well turn out to be more useful than I'd thought. :) Who would've thought that cigarette breaks could be productive.

Megan's comp is upgraded. XP is -almost- runnable on it now. If I could come up with the $40 or so to get the K6-2 550 for it, it'd be a lot better... but the 400 is a -definite- improvement. (Oh, Nette? That 400 chip works just fine... tell the hubby I think that your old mainboard was jumpered wrong... still researching that. I -HATE- Compaq's support site...) Mine seems to be running steady; I need to swap the 950 back in, now that I'm running everything through Linux. That'll give me the 650 and the Kinpo 0021 as the core of another system, if I can ever get my hands on another ATX case and power supply.

Trivial stuff, you say? Yes, but ... well... even getting something -small- done seems to be an 'accomplishment' for me.
