| Visiting elisabeth (UPN, 6:30): elisabeth (Helena Bonham Carter) and sisala (Joe Rogan) try out for a volleyball team. That weekend, sapphire_d (Milla Jovovich) bites phaex (Brittany Murphy). Also, kangitanka3 (Malcolm Gets) ruins wibbble (Charlize Theron)'s favourite shoes while house-sitting. Soon afterwards, rowandoll (Lisa Marie Presley) is allergic to ironman (Mark Wahlberg)'s couch. On the other side of town, meamgrimlock (Alan Rickman) and jhyanmar (Nat King Cole) sneak a backpack into a deli. Everyone learns a valuable lesson. |

That out of the way...
Some of you out there know Hobbes. He's not a LiveJournal person, but he frequents some of the MU*s out there, and is a local and very dear friend. He spent most of last night in the Emergency Room... and apparently is in the initial stages of congestive heart failure. I... am unsure what exactly that entails. My details are very sketchy; he was working on getting prescriptions filled to lessen the pressure in his legs (which are suffering tears from the pressure within). Whatever your faith, if you know him or know of him or just care anyway, send best wishes however you choose.
He's one of the precious few that's stood by me. He's one of the precious few that -knows- about me, and accepts me. He's one of the precious few who stepped in to try and -help- me when my own health collapsed. In the last year, his home has been foreclosed on and his mother has died due to what looks like malpractice. I could count the number of folks at the funeral to support him on my fingers and have some leftovers. I could count the folks that helped with the house on one hand, again with leftovers. He's a friend, and I love him dearly, and I'm very very afraid for him right now.
Megan's off tonight, attending the viewing of yet another friend, the former manager of the real estate office she worked for back in '98. It put her in a simply -joyous- mood, adding a lengthy and bloody argument with her to my plate today. She doesn't know about Hobbes yet... I'm not sure she could deal with the viewing with more on her.
I'm going to go take a shower. I... need to unstress a bit. Hopefully it'll help...
~Elisabeth
