Most folks know by now that I'm a quizzieslut; having a Mistress again didn't do a darn thing to change that. :p This new one's from [livejournal.com profile] nightambre...

First of all, this test can be found here: The New Enneagram Test. They don't offer already formated results for cutting and pasting, but if you 'view page source' of your results page, and cut'n'past the table, you'll get what I've recorded here. ALL of this information comes from 9Types; it's lifted lock, stock, and barrel from their very nicely laid out website. Please note that I -did- revise some of the elements for neatness:

Enneagram Personality Type Indicator Results

Your highest score will indicate you basic type, or it will
be among the top 2-3 scores. Low scores in some type
might come out negative. That's perfectly normal.

For best results, you should answer all the questions that apply.

The Helper (the Two)

Helpers are warm, concerned, nurturing, and sensitive to other people's
needs.

How to Get Along with Me
  • Tell me that you appreciate me. Be specific.
  • Share fun times with me.
  • Take an interest in my problems, though I will probably try to focus on yours.
  • Let me know that I am important and special to you.
  • Be gentle if you decide to criticize me.

    In Intimate Relationships
  • Reassure me that I am intersting to you.
  • Reassure me often that you love me.
  • Tell me I'm attractive and that you're glad to be seen with me.

What I Like About Being a Two
  • being able to relate easily to people and to make friends
  • knowing what people need and being able to make their lives better
  • being generous, caring, and warm
  • being sensitive to and perceptive about others' feelings
  • being enthusiastic and fun-loving, and having a good sense of humor

What's Hard About Being a Two
  • not being able to say no
  • having low self-esteem
  • feeling drained from overdoing for others
  • not doing things I really like to do for myself for fear of being selfish
  • criticizing myself for not feeling as loving as I think I should
  • being upset that others don't tune in to me as much as I tume in to them
  • working so hard to be tactful and considerate that I suppress my real feelings

Twos as Children Often
  • are very sensitive to disapproval and criticism
  • try hard to please their parents by being helpful and understanding
  • are outwardly compliant
  • are popular or try to be popular with other children
  • act coy, precocious, or dramatic in order to get attention
  • are clowns and jokers (the more extroverted Twos), or quiet and shy (the more introverted Twos)

Twos as Parents
  • are good listeners, love their children unconditionally, and are warm and encouraging (or suffer guilt if they aren't)
  • are often playful with their children
  • wonder: "Am I doing it right?" "Am I giving enough?" "Have I caused irreparable damage?"
  • can become fiercely protective

Some of the user comments left on the 9Types site are very interesting as well.

*beams* What I find kinda odd is that the rather extreme curve into 'Helper' has always been that way. The first time I took a test of this sort was back in elementary school... so very much has changed, but nothing's really changed. The original test is lost to the dimness of time, but it had the same five choice model as this one. I'm pleased with this particular version, because it doesn't seem to suffer from some of the vaguaries of the Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator test; the RHETI typically offers only two choices, and never a neutral 'no comment' selection for when -both- answers are dead wrong. The RHETI always clocks me in as either Type 8 (Leader) or Type 9 (Peacemaker)... both of them roles I've -had- to do because of my past, but never roles I fully understood, much less liked.

This one comes from Advisor Team, and dubs itself a 'Temperment Sorter'. Again, I've (rather obsessively) reworked the html until I'm pleased with it; my journal seems to be getting a surprising amount of commuter traffic, and I don't want my Mistress looking at it and shaking her head...

Your Temperament is Idealist (NF)

Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self -- always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey. Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials.

Idealists are rare, making up no more than 8 to 10 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.

The Four Types of Idealists
Healers (INFP)Introversion/Intuition/Feeling/Perception
Counselors (INFJ)Introversion/Intuition/Feeling/Judgement
Champions (ENFP)Extroversion/Intuition/Feeling/Perception

This one is from HumanMetrics, and is called An Online test based on Jung - Myers-Briggs Topology:

Qualitative analysis of your type formula
 You are:
  • slightly expressed introvert
  • distinctively expressed intuitive personality
  • moderately expressed feeling personality
  • slightly expressed judging personality

INFJ meshes with the first one, and pegs me as 'Counsellor'... which is kinda odd feeling, if that makes any sense. But this next one confirms it, and gives ratios... proving that I'm QUITE solidly in that category. Go figure...

Damn. That was a long post. I think most of the folks that read my journal have already gone to bed. :p Oh well. It's been a fun evening; conversations with my Mistress, Taryn, Owny, and Lady J have kept me hopping whilst I obsessed over this. But... again, it's been fun.
