Mid-trip Update

cabbitzillaManaged to borrow my much adored host's pc and net connection for a couple minutes, mainly to check on an E-bay auction (outbid by $0.01 at the last frakin minute *sigh*) and clear the glut out of my email boxes.
'm okie, somewhere in the rural heart of Illinois. Somewhere down below Arcola (The birthplace of the creator of Raggedy Anne! Wheee!). We leave for Chicago tomorrow mid morning; if I'm not utterly wiped out by the trip up, I'll give R a shout and see if she's ready for me. Given how much the round-trip to Champagne/Urbana (Chambana or Champana if you're from there, apparently) fragged me, I'm probably going to be crashing into bed and snoring loudly.
There's still Thursday and Friday, though. I -am- feeling better, though, and have actually been managing to get some -sleep-. Hopefully this trend will continue.
