cabbitzillaEvery now and again, a topic will come up on Slashdot that I'll sit and read all the posts for. This morning, one such was waiting for me, along with the even rarer occurence of my being willing to post into the conversation thread. For those of you who don't get the Slashdot RSS feed, have turned it off due to the frequent 'issues', or simply don't know about them, here it is:
If you're on my friends list, chances are you'll see games being discussed that did it for you.
Sleep is... an evasive, quirky beast. After triple my normal tranquilizer dose, three cups of chamomile tea, and endless thrashing about in four different spots, I -finally- managed to get three hours of shut eye. Isn't that special. :p
And now that I'm 'up' again, I find myself craving -massively- a Beef-n-Chedder from Arby's. Go figure.
*blinks, then howls with laughter*
The way the comps and desks are set up now, Megan (when sitting at her PC) can see me both out of the corner of her eye -and- in the reflection in her monitor. No biggie, really... normally I'm just sitting here staring at the monitor and typing my fingers numb. But I just popped one of my favorite Manowar cd's in the machine, and was singing along without thinking about who was in the room with me... complete with arm movements like I was actually performing. (Air Guitarists, eat your hearts out!).
Anyway, she suddenly totally cracks up. Bemused, I ask her what's so funny. She turns to look directly at me and says:
It's just the really ... well... 'manly metal', and you. Every time I see you do that, I think ~And up! C'mon, girls, sashay.... and... JAZZHANDS!~ (from one of the *ahem* not so masculine [Ed. note: FLAMING :p] exercise instructors)
*giggle* Apparently I flame a bit more than I realized. :p Ooopsie. :p
