cabbitzillaMom's trailer and underskirting (and car and shed and porch and lawn figurines and and and and) have now been powerwashed. This process created two very distinct and separate entities:
Hopefully I didn't get enough bleach in my hair to whiten things too much, or I'm going to look downright silly for a while. o.o
There's very little else going on, to be honest. I've a nice shiny new (well, rebuilt) Fedora Core 5 machine, which runs (via Cedega) WoW surprisingly well. It even runs my little jigsaw puzzle program, which is cool. Most of what I do here at Crys and Kelly's is websurf, email, jigsaw puzzles, and WoW; it'll make a quite capable fill-in while I figure out just what the hell is wrong with Goliath. There's something in it, hardware-wise, that's giving WinXP serious heartburn; ten minutes to cold boot to the login is just the first of the woes there. Now I just need to find a pair of 512mb DDR 266 bars and it (the linux box) will be good to go. Goliath's another matter entirely, and is going to get stripped totally and reinstalled with just the mainboard (sound & NIC) and video card in it. The other pieces will get added one at a time so I can isolate what's not working... provided it's not (as I suspect) the onboard sound that's the issue. Wow, lots of sub-clauses and parens today. Must be your lucky day, fearless reader.
Oh, and for the curious: care should be taken to release the power washer's trigger if one stumbles and drops the tip in the dirt. Can you say *FOOM!*?
