Jun. 5th, 2005 02:35 amTrivial things, really...
Yanked the knee out again yesterday afternoon. I can walk on level ground without the cane again, but it won't flex with my weight on it yet. But it's improving.
Guild Wars continues to rock my world. My denseness led to some hurt feelings which I'm hoping have been remedied; a misunderstanding that led to fretting. I'm sorry, sweetie. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. *kiss*
Wendy Padbury. There's simply only one word that adequately describes my feelings there: Yummy! Smart, brave, and damned cute.... while I may eternally dream of being the third, I hope someday to be as smart and brave as Zoe. Hopefully Ms Padbury won't mind having the world's largest cabbit as a fan.
Did I mention how pretty she is?
*chuckles* I can almost see the 'What in the world brought THAT on?!' reactions... and it's really quite simple. I'd limped to the kitchen for some grape juice, and only made it back to the sofa. The VCR remote was there, so I flipped through the channels... and found Seeds of Death, featuring Patrick Troughton, Frazer Hines, and the yummy Wendy Padbury.... the Companion that dethroned Sarah Jane Smith as my favorite. Sarah screamed and ran a lot. Zoe kind of screams, but she gets the job done while she's doing it.
It took exactly -one- episode for Zoe to supplant Sarah Jane, a second to confirm that I'd made no mistake... and a third to sit back and watch avidly. A couple of my regular readers know of my passion for Babylon 5; my passion for Doctor Who is far older, and much, much stronger. It's one of four programs that outstrip B5, the other three being Blake's 7, Space: 1999, and the original Star Trek series. Yes, I'm a geek. Cope.
Anyway, that's all from me for the moment. I'll attempt to be a bit more regular with my posts... I've apparently been suffering from the LiveJournal equivalent of constipation...

Date: 2005-06-05 05:18 pm (UTC)I don't believe I've ever lusted after the book collection of someone I've never met before. :) If you can get channel 67 (or an affiliate), that's where I caught it. I'm not sure where they're based at... I'm a bit SW of Baltimore...
