Well, from a practical POV, the GF2MX isn't obsolete: the iMac runs quite a few new games just well. Obviously it's not going to manage Doom 3, but it does manage Rise of Nations, and might even manage to run The Sims 2, when it's released.
The Radeon 9200 in this iBook is a bit disappointing for a brand-new machine, but it is Apple's bottom of the line laptop, so I can't expect much. Better'n PC low-end laptops, which have those horrible built-in chipsets...
