Templars are the Praetorians of the
Societas Romu, the bodyguards, the
members one goes to when one needs a strong arm
and protection from evil. Unlike their more
adventuresome brethren in the Paladin Order,
the Templars are found most often in and around
the Church itself, guarding from the enemies
who all too often beseige it. Though most
Templars are distrustful of magic, a few are
known to make use of white enchantments for
their weapons and armor.

*scratches her head* So... Handmaidens are Templars? And there were a bunch of options missing. SOMEbody has to keep the Saint's clothes clean and mended, and remind the poor dear that she's loved and treasured. If that makes me a Templar... well... *blinks* You know, I haven't the faintest beginnings of the tendrils of the inklings of an idea how I actually -feel- about that...
