I'm going to go curl up in a ball, now. I'm terrified of the things I haven't found, given the condition of the boxes left to go through.

Damn. Define destroyed. Are they recoverable? At all?
That's some very serious losses, Ellie. Wow. I'm so sorry.

Destroyed. The paper products were all well on their way to pulp and the shirt was rotted to the point that it took me ten minutes to identify it.

Worst was the photo album; while other things had much higher monetary value... those were the ONLY copies of those prints. One of the very few summers that I didn't wonder why I bothered to breathe.

No, love. 'recoverable' wouldn't have me in tears. Even if some portions could be salvaged... *shakes her head* Most of it's to the point where the only way to even /move/ it is with a snow shovel. :(

That's horrible. Really. I know they're just 'things,' but I shudder to imagine my reaction to losing some of my more precious collectibles.
And to lose irreplaceable photographs on top of all that . . .

I wish I could do something to help you. All I can offer is to send you another copy of the first volume of Ranma 1/2, along with a few other things. E-mail me your address and I'll try to get a package out this weekend.
