As some folks have likely noticed, I'm spending more and more time trying (and failing) to sleep. With everything that's going on, I've been blssed with a return of the night terrors that've plagued me for almost three decades; what little sleep I'm getting is in fits and starts, between coming bolt upright out of bed in fear. Once I crawled out of bed, I called the clinic; the psyche on duty's told me to double the amitriptyline for two days, to see if that breaks the cycle. If no, my next appointment for meds is Wednesday afternoon, and it'll get resolved then.

In a half fogged state, roleplay is simply not possible. Historically I've always retreated to Diablo 2 for a 'bash the evil' marathon session; it keeps me distracted enough that I can relax. This time around, D2's gathering dust, as is Marathon (which had become the designated runner up)... a very precious friend hooked me up with a mmorpg; it's evil/critter bashing with a really cute interface. It's adorable.

And that's where I am. If anyone needs me, email me, okie? Until I can snap the sleep deprivation cycle, most everything else is shut off.
