Feb. 6th, 2009 09:36 pmThe master bedroom now has new carpet, but in the process I've nearly rendered myself unable to walk more than ten or so feet without needing to stop. Without any furniture in the trailer to lever myself up with, it puts all of the strain on my knees... and they're saying 'no'. *grumble* Anyway, I'm mostly going to be packing/unpacking and playing supervisor, so it shouldn't matter a hill of beans whether I can walk or not. Hopefully a nights rest and some Motrin will soothe things out.
But dammit, the carpet looks -good-.
Tommy picks up the rented box trailer tomorrow morning and will meet us at the apartment roughly 10ish. Kelly will also be turning up in the 10-11 window. Crystal and I will be there roughly 8:30/8:45ish so we can resume packing. Leah and Lauren will show up around 1:30 after Tyler's basketball game is done, and that's the entire crew for this one. The tiny handful of other folks I'd hoped for are going to be largely absent; people are either half sick, half dead or otherwise occupied. I've been hesitant to ask some, given that they spent LAST weekend getting another friend moved. *wry smile* Then again, only an idiot would decide to move in the middle of February, so I'm getting what I deserve, you know?
I've got a full list of furniture and the order it needs to go into the trailer. I can't remember if I've babbled about that before or not, and I'm being lazy about going to look. And we need to vacuum the carpets before anything goes in. And I'm probably forgetting a ton of stuff, but I'm tired. So there, nyah. :p
