Dec. 26th, 2008 12:10 pmChristmas was another multi-stop affair again this year, juggling various family components against cats needing to be fed and my own rather unreliable health. Most of what I got was either cash or gift cert, but mom did get me one of THESE. I'll have to lay hands on another SATA drive and test it out... it has the potential to be VERY handy, particularly when I've got large amounts of files to transfer (yes,
ginkage, I might finally be able to get those Dr Who files to you).
Both knees are now bothering me pretty badly, likely because of the high amount of steps involved in both of the main stops. My day went smoothly considering I spent about half of it on the road. My 'big gift' this year was given to me on Christmas eve; after being pulled over for 75mph in a 55 zone, I received a warning and a stern lecture instead of the ticket I deserved. Thank you, Mr State Trooper sir. And I -was- good. I slowed down to within normal ranges and just let the cruise control handle it.
I guess I'll go back to playing RO. I seem to be the only one from my guild that's playing actively, which is sad. It seems like my joining a guild is its death stroke. :(
