It might surprise a few folks that I'd never sat down and watched Easy Rider. It's been on my list to grab a copy and set a spell, but until today I hadn't had the chance. So instead of taking an immediate nap, I settled in and hit 'play'.

The photography is absolutely fantastic. The acid sequence is very well put together; having been 'chipped' while in college, it's accurate as well. Well, as accurate for as much of it as I can remember, anyway. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Dear sweet Jesus. ... well, I won't sleep now.
