Nov. 7th, 2005 03:31 pm... and so it came to be that as the evening turned to the darkest of nights, the world's largest cabbit was finally introduced to the unrestrained (and oftimes ludicrous) mayhem of Kill Bill. As I told Rowan last night, I'm still trying to decide between love and loathe as my reaction, though there were bits I thought quite excellent. The spanking scene got an abrupt snort of laughter (accompanied by Coca Cola streaming out my nose and causing fearsome burnings). The Crazy 88 rocked hard in general. Also on my 'loved' list was the payback delivered to the hospital orderly, Buck. Having pried information out of someone once using that technique, it got a serious giggle.
Also in the offerings yesterday was more rubber monster mayhem... which continues today. I've even got -another- Godzilla film after this one to watch, and yet another slowly assembling. One of these days I'll own every one of these the proper way. Godzilla, James Bond, Doctor Who, Space 1999, and a handful of others, all on that list... along with a stack of anime. :p
At any rate, Godzilla versus Megaguirus: The G Anihilation Strategy is waiting, as is Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monster All Out Attack. I'm around, though answers will be slow.
Ciao.
