(no subject)

I'm closing down early tonight. I know I'm loved... I know it... but right this second I'm wondering why that seems to be putting a technicolor bullseye on my chest. Were it just one person, I'd write it off as a bad night (which happens) and leave it behind me. Two would be a coincidence.

Three. Three is a bit harder to explain away.

So I'm going to state this flatly:

If I message you with an offering of picture or music or URL, I am not somehow casting you as a villain, implying that you're boring, or fussing that you've been somehow inattentive.

I think that's about as blunt as I can be without grabbing folks by the throat and administering a ClueByFour up close and personally, and it accurately recaps the blasts I've taken tonight. Apparently I share too readily; tough nuts, it's not likely to change. I do my best to take care of the folk I consider family, and that includes passing along tidbits they might otherwise miss.

Yes, I sound grumpy. I AM grumpy, now. I'm tired and sore, and I've not slept well in almost a week. I'd managed to ramp myself up into a decent mood, only to have my mood canoe sunk while in placid waters. I'm irritated, but I'll get over it. Taking this as 'OMG Ellie hates me now!' will get you slapped. As I've stated over and over again, you will KNOW if you've made my bad side. I'm too tired to be polite, and bluntness is easier to manage. And now I'm going to go have a cigarette and curl up with a book... and things will be better in the morning.

And yes, rufflebritches, I still love and adore you. I know you're the most determined self-hater here, and the most likely to overreact. *kiss* Same goes for my kitty with the mechanical arm, who's almost as skilled at self loathing. *kiss*
