Okay, I'm home now, and in spite of the fatigue feel fairly accomplished. I survived two hours of ... intense therapy, and all three prescriptions are filled... and Megan's going out for the evening and I get to keep the car.
Why is this a big deal? Well, I'll tell you: Megan is ... a bit too particular in some respects, particularly as regards pizza. I've been hankering for a
THIN crust pepperoni and onion pizza... and such a thing is NOT to be found anywhere in Megan's proximity. Yeah, I'm being particular too... I get that way sometimes. But it aggravates me when I'm the only one making concessions. So once she's been picked up, I'm going over to Domino's and getting a pizza. :p
My care package from Fox arrived: OS X 10.3 :) Finally, I'll be able to properly size the pictures on my desktop. Hell of a reason to upgrade, but hey. It also lets me move to (apparently MUCH) more stable versions of Safari, BitTorrent, and a host of other goodies. So... booyah, or something. :p *smooch* Thankie! :)
A care package also arrived from a dear friend in Ohio... a birthday present that'd gotten shuffled to the side in the plans of a big vacation. *chuckles* It's a sentiment I can understand... I've had things vanish from my mind over as little as going to see a movie. Inside the box was a positively
darling poodle plushy with a pink bow atop it's head, and a ... wow... a brick-sized block of scented glycerine soap. *giggles* If I ever get someone trying to mug me in the shower, I can defend myself. And it's pretty smelling. It's got a silhouette of the Eiffel Tower set into it. It's pretty enough that I'm not sure I want to cut it. :p *blows kisses* Thank you, darling. :)
So on the whole, it's not turning out to be a bad day after all. I figure I'll kick the OS upgrade off after I finish tonights' turns on
KoL... and just let it roll till it's done. And now that Megan's gone, I can go fetch my pizza. :)
