(no subject)

Been a few days since I did a non-quiz post; my energy's been at a very definite low ebb the last week. I'm still doggedly pursuing my cleaning goals, though my tempo is definitely 'off'. Of course, I've discovered that there's a -VAST- gulf between my wardrobe and Megan's; what I'd estimated to be a 3:1 in her favor is shaping up as a 5:1 or 6:1... the amount of clothes she has, while still claiming she's got no clothes, is simply awe inspiring.

I've a couple of tidbits to share that've been brought to my attention through both livejournal and other forums. I'll go ahead and pass them along here, so that folks can enjoy/scoff/sigh as appropriate.

• A cute little essay piece entitled The Horror of Blimps: it should be noted that I -really- want one of these. The potential is just amazing. :)
• A small little local news blurb, God Said I Could Have One!: some folks simply astound me.
• A larger and more complicated news piece, Press Briefing by Scott McClellan: a press secretary gets nailed to the wall because of his boss' shadiness.
• A really nice list of Astrology and Related Links: I've spent several days wandering through some of these sites.
• A silly little meme that -again- ties me romantically to Duo Maxwell... someday I'll get to see the anime he's in and understand why this is a big deal. In the pics I've seen, he's cute enough...

I don't really have a lot else on my mind, really. I'm just sorta pushing forward as best I can. I guess I'll go back to playing the Galactic Civilizations demo; the game itself is down to $19.99 via Game Stop. Maybe when my birthday rolls around in a couple months I can buy it for myself. Anyway, I'm babbling now, so I'll wander back out.
