And that pretty much sums it up, too. Vacation departure is Saturday morn, and I'm about to implode from the stress. I've a doctor appointment in 37 minutes, and no way to get -to- it. And I'm about ready to throttle Megan, who's done nothing wrong and isn't even -here-.

Trapped at home, no cash for a cab, and nobody around. I'm gonna miss my appointment. :(

Megan appeared.
Was late for the appointment, but got in. Apologized to everyone within earshot; apparently amused everyone with my penitent attitude. I suspect I'm the only patient at Omni that frets about missed appointments.

• But missed appointments shouldn't happen. I'm intelligent enough to keep that much straight. Or should be. Leaving someone hanging is unforgivable, and it means I need to try harder. Maybe I can find some sort of scheduling software... I spend enough time at this PC.

*sigh* Now I need to try and recover some equilibrium.
