Oct. 30th, 2002 12:38 pmThe new 50mcg patches are much stronger than I'd expected. While I've not slept, my overall pain levels are down a measurable amount. I'm relatively upbeat today, in spite of the quasi nausea... new patches at work, I'm thinking. I got used to the 25's doin this fairly quickly.
And apologies for any typos and such, I'm not anywhere near my normal 'focus' point. Urf. And I'm zoning in and out as well. No driving for me till that stabilizes... hopefully Megan won't whine too much about having to do the driving. Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't.
I finished a short story for a friend's birthday; it got sent to her yesterday. In a few days, I'll ask if she minds me showing it to others. Dunno how she'll answer, but from its' conception it was a -gift-, so I'll respect her wishes.
If I can get my head bolted on straight today, I'll start working on the concept/theme layout for the new game; Mars, Gaea, and Locutus are all waiting very patiently, but none of them have more than a broad idea of where I'm angling with 'futuristic steampunk'... I -have- to get the basics down before the real work can commence. Fortunately, at least one, possibly all three of them semi-monitor my LJ, so they'll know I didn't forget.
I wonder if the tights that were ordered for me from the Lane Bryant catalog will arrive today. My last pair of black tights met their demise yesterday when I fell outside, leaving me with only the one pair of white tights. Odd to make a 'winter weight' tight in a color that's generally considered gauche to wear in the cold months... I tend to not leave the house, though, and the fashion police can kiss my buttocks. And that's a whole LOTTA kissin...
Um... I... guess I'm gonna wander away for a bit, now.
