Oct. 27th, 2002 06:06 amIt was a bumpy beginning to say the least. Saturday is typically a day spent with friends; gaming, chatting, and (for me) staring glassy eyed at a blessedly different set of walls. After effort, I managed to get Megan moving and we went to leave the house.
The car refused to start.
The end result was that the battery, which -looked- to be the OEM unit for the Saturn (Crystal? Did you guys ever replace the battery in it?), was flatlined. It'd been acting a bit flaky, but I'd -really- hoped that it was just dirty terminals and had spent some time last week cleaning all the contacts and hooking it all back up. *sigh* So that's another $55.97 plus tax (and $5.00 core charge) ... Mike sprung for the battery... *sigh* another person I owe money too. And he's cute, too... kinda a shame he doesn't swing my way, I don't think. :p (Nette, do -not- repeat- that, okie? Please? I don't want to lose another friend...)
Anyway, I'd only rolled out of bed (staring at a darkened wall, but in theory it qualifies as 'rest') to limp to the potty. I guess I'll go back now.
*hugs*
