Pharmacies all seem to have closed at 4pm today; I'll have to go do the prescription run tomorrow after Megan gets back from work. At least I don't actually run out of the first of them until tomorrow... I can get things filled without a gap this time. And there's no money uncertainty - the needed funds are now available (thank you, darlings).

It's not actually raining today, though it's still quite overcast. I've got joints proclaiming more to come, though, so I'm wondering how long it'll hold off. Today has continued to be a sleepy day, though I'm at least awake enough to be coherent. I suspect I'll either drift off for a nap or curl up on the sofa with a book... which, given the kind of day it is, will almost certainly amount to the same thing. :p

Some foods seem to be acquiring tastes again, which is a definite plus. While 'sawdust' isn't my favorite flavor, it's at least something. *snicker* What does sawdust taste like? *snickers more* You've obviously never tried to change the transmission fluid in a car bought from a 'cheap' used car dealer. :p Most older transmissions don't have a drain plug, you see... which means you drain it by unbolting it and having it spill, no matter what precautions you've taken, onto your face...

We'll just go ahead and christen that one as 'Ellie's Law', okay?

But the day has promise, oh yes. While I was at the store, I found marshmallow peeps on sale, 2 for $1. *giggles* Hey, everyone has a week spot. I got a package of bunnies and a package of stars. Woot. *ponders* Yes, it's nap time. I should be back around in a couple of hours.. my naps never seem to last long.

*hugs*

Glad to hear that you've been getting sleep; you don't get enough of it most of the time. And it's nice to hear you're getting a sense of taste back. I know about the tendency for transmission pans to dump their contents upon the worker; having been there a couple times myself. I also recommend that over the drain pipe for a church toilet that has to be reached through the ceiling on the floor below.

And a question for you.

Is it possible to see a larger version of your new icon? And where did you find it?

Okay, two questions :P *hugs*

I just emailed you the 'full size' pic I have... and it's not a lot bigger than the LJ icon display. It came from the icon constructor widget that got pointed out on the [livejournal.com profile] egl... the widget is located HERE.

*smooch*

Firstly....

Very cool new icon! Secondly, I did not know they had star shaped Peeps!!! Man, I miss Easter baskets, I need to start doing one for myself...maybe one for the husband too if I feel like sharing.
Lastly, a very cool game if you get a chance to try it on Playstation II is Frequency......or Amplitude. I get confused, one is for the PSI and the other for the PSII....but I can't remember which. Anywhoo, it's another music based game, you have to burst bubbles to make the song complete. Excellent tracks too, Garbage 'Cherry Lips', Diesel Boy, Baldwin Brothers...really good stuff. It's super addicting and wicked fun!
