So to cap off a decent day, I get the mood crash from hell. The loneliness that I manage to keep at bay sweeps in and reduces me to tears in less than three minutes. I know it's not rational... but it's hard to see through it when it surrounds me. Years ago, someone rescued me when my walls of ice tried to swallow me.... I doubt I rate another saviour in the grand scheme of things. So I'm going to go annoy my guinea pig, and hold him for a while. If I can beat it back, I'll return tonight.

I can't allow myself to think of the alternatives...
