Bleah... now am I gonna have to teach you how to brew beer so you can have something good? ;) I don't drink at all anymore, but when I did I liked lagers and wheat beer. And mead. I can make a kickass mead...

Mead...what exactly does mead taste like? Is it really heavy or light? I'm guessing heavy, a name like 'mead' doesn't lend one to think about bubbles and crispness. But, I could be very much wrong.

You would be mistaken. It's not heavy at all, no more than wine is. It can also range from sweet to dry, just like wines. Can be carbonated or not. I prefer small meads, which are lightly alcoholic, sweet and take very little time to make.
