cabbitzillaWell, for the moment, Safari has won out as my primary browser for the G3. I'm not sure /what/ is the problem with Mozilla, but if it runs for more than three hours my CPU load pegs 100% and /stays/ there. I'll hit the MozDev boards later and see if I can figure out what's up with that.
I was already downloading MozFirebird when I discovered the preferences settings for Safari... and found tabbed browsing and pop-up blocking. The reasons I was so attached to Mozilla? Tabbed browsing and pop-up blocking. So. I wonder if there's any way to skin Safari to make it a bit more what I'm used to. I'll keep the .dmg for Firebird around, but for the moment we'll see how Safari does. Anyway.
Poking around it seems there -are- packages that let you theme Safari. Interesting. It's a good sign, to my mind. So, now we play.
Oh, for what it's worth, the last several posts have been made via iJournal, on the G3. Lovely beastie, it is.
