cabbitzillaLunch with Jason and Dan. Topic of conversation proved to be politics; they're my most militaristic pro-anything-American friends. Bleah. I love 'em both dearly, but... well, anyway.
They were at a computer show this morning, and among the things they bought were a 30gig, 7200rpm Maxtor hard drive and a bar of 256meg PC100 memory for me. While I disagree with some of their politics, they're still good friends and decent people. It means that in the next few days, this machine goes offline for a bit while I swap in the new drive and do a -fresh- install of WinXP Pro. I've got a -lot- of archiving to do before I can attempt it, though.
