Which flock do you follow?

Other than that, it's been an... odd day. My mood's been in a state best defined as 'cranky'... though I've managed to get some stuff done. The AMD K-6-400 machine went to its' new home this evening, and much fun was had during a four hour long geekfest with Kelly. He's ... well, I tend to think of him as someone as well versed and talented with software and deployment as I am with hardware, so geeking with him is always a learning experience. (Tonight I learned that though she qualifies for Sainthood, Crys can't catch... and I inadvertantly beaned her with a SCSI terminator bar.. sorry sweetie...).
So now I'm home, and preparing to eat the mac-n-cheese I nuked up, and play a little Civ 3. OH YEAH! Sapphi? It -does- work... just not in the CDRW drive. For some reason it only will run from the Creative DVDROM. Kinda odd, but it's uberspiff that it works.
Some old writing projects are in the process of being dusted off, and a new one begun. I've just been too wonked to work on 'em today, though. I need to dig the pieces of my laptop out and take another stab at getting something OS'ish to run on it. With a decent word processor. Hrm. Anyone got a 486 or better laptop that needs a home? Maybe I've got some desktop hardware for a trade? Though I doubt it... most of what I have is pretty old. Ah well.
*hugs*

Date: 2003-05-09 02:01 am (UTC)Me, God? The resulting equation would be Me=God=Cranky TG Bitch ... which'd be bad all the way around. :p Think what the Baptists and Catholics would say. :p
