I liked that last meme a lot...

Quite a lot, actually. I wondered to myself, what if Wall House's first album went gold and they ended up back in the studio for a second release? So I skipped the first step to retain the band name, and then did the second and third steps over again. It is with great joy that I present the sophomore effort from Wall House:

Wall House 2

As for the rest of reality... things are actually going decently. Hopefully I don't jinx things with that. Dinner's a bit on the empty side tonight, since it was a choice between 'not quite enough' and 'a bit too much'. I need to buy a loaf of bread tomorrow so I can at least make PB&Js when I'm still a bit noshy. I've got a couple projects to accomplish by Friday, chief among them being dismantling my bed and bolting everything together properly before the headboard crashes down in the middle of the night and whacks me in the head.

It'd only make me mad and break the headboard, you see.

I also need to lay in some sodas. Between over a week since my last smoke and the bottled water I've been drinking for the last three weeks while catsitting, the water HERE is downright -foul-. Does anyone know if the on-the-faucet water purifiers are worth a damn?

My mind is occupied with private matters... and how to fend off my therapist when she makes note of a much cheerier mood and wants answers as to why; I know from prior conversations with her that she simply can't handle the truth. Cripplingly vanilla, she is. The last time non-vanilla themes came up in conversation she reacted poorly, and I'd rather not go there. Still, I know I can't duck the appointment, so I'll have to come up with something on the fly. Improv: Some perform it, most live it instead and I'm certainly with the crown on that one. Anyway. Time for me to go to bed, methinks. Be well, peoples. :)

Any chance of finding a new therapist? One that won't go "LA LA LA NOT LISTENING" when your life details tend toward the, ah, non-mainstream?

We use the Brita on-the-tap filter and it works really well. Garland water is nasty without it!

You should check with the local leather community, dear. You know as well as I do that most of the clubs keep lists of non-vanilla-friendly counselors. And I know that money is a consideration, but I can't believe that NONE of the counselors on the list take sliding scale or the like.

*HUG*

'sliding scale' is still too much, love. I managed to fall through the cracks in Omni's billing system; I've not paid a dime in over three years. I think the bookkeeper is aware that a) I need the therapy and b) I have no money.

And it turns out she's a bit less 'militant vanilla' than expected. She caught wind of a much-better-than-normal and peppered me with questions until I answered one point blank from the hip. She thought about it for a moment, then shrugged and commented that it seemed to be working for me and wasn't hurting anyone so have at. Color me surprised. :p

... you know, I need to start reading profiles when new names start appearing in comments. :p

In other news: MORY! *pounce*

As for a new therapist, take a look at the answer I gave 'lyssa below.

... wait, what? o.O

Check? What check? Did I miss a money making opportunity? Or did you win the betting pool on when the cabbit would finally give up her deathsticks? :p

*smooch*

Ohnoes!! Now I'm going to have cabbit hair all over my sweater... ;D

And that's good to hear. I was afraid she might end up going "well, the much-better-than-normal is good...but now I have to cure her of her -deviant ways-!" (also, hooray for deviant ways >_>

*hug* Well, I expect no check from you EVER for no reason at all (nyah~), and since I know your address, how much do you want your food check for?

You need to feed yourself, silly fuzzle. I was given three cans of chunk chicken and a bottle of Miracle Whip, so as soon as I remember to buy a &*$#^*&@! loaf of bread I've got a choice between PB&Js or yardbird. I polished off the last of my frozen burritos tonight, adding another item to restock to my shopping list.

I need to check the bigbox store and see if they carry larger packages of Zats. And larger packages of turkey gravy. There's got to be a way to make this work right. With the departure of the toaster oven (Crystal's went belly up over the weekend) there's even a place to put the crockpot. :)

*grabs the bat* 'm gonna -make- it work. C'mere, Mr Grocer, I've got something I wanna 'splain to you...

;)
