This will be a short jot; my mood's been jumping up and down most of the evening and I honestly don't have the patience to sit and document the why or it. But Kelly, geek guru that he is, found something earlier today (and relayed it to me) that simply MUST be passed on: Star Wrek.

A fan made film. With fan-made special effects...

... that look better than a lot of what Hollyweird expects us to swallow.

Don't believe me? There's a trailer on their site; I won't direct link it here, as I'd rather they got the hit count to show how much folks are interested. But it's labeled -very- clearly on the site. Download it. Watch it. Be astounded at what fans can create, given the motivation.
