USS Relocator - Ship's Log, Stardate 102004.22

Woven materia storage bin construction was completed. The local loading crew was unable to pursue their assigned duties; legacy exo-skeletal mismatches forced the canceling of the data repackaging, now rescheduled for Stardate 102004.26. Having been apprised of the scheduling difficulties, the USS Barrett arrived in orbit at 1500 hours local time to render assistance. The major components of the relaxatory comfort appliances were transferred to the Autumn Crest 2 base of operations with only minimal damage, caused by insufficient crashwebbing lockpoints and load shifting in transit. The data storage modules are now partially in use, awaiting further resource transferral. Due to Chambers Coil difficulties, the operations team from the Relocator was unable to contact the Commodore as originally planned.

USS Relocator - Captain's Log Supplemental, Stardate 102004.22

There is an old military adage: There is no such thing as a battle plan that survives the first engagement with the enemy. The reservations I've held concerning this mission continue to carry the weight of prophecy, particularly in light of this adage-cum-truism: no single point of the duty assignments was executed as expected. In the wake of the frictions with Commander McTernan yesterday, there was in evidence a more focused attitude towards the completion of this assignment... where I had instead expected resentment. The local packing and transitioning team proved to be the problem of the day, and would have been irreparable had the Barrett not arrived to pinch-hit for them. The Barrett's Captain is an old acquaintance, friend, and sometime rival; after an initial verbal scuffle, it proved more efficient to leave them to extracting work from my First and for me to depart with the Relocator to prepare the bay positions for the R.C. appliances. The food replicator systems at the AC 2 base ops are finally fully functional, which removed the need to use the ship for that purpose. The crew is manifesting signs of exhaustion; it is my desperate hope that the construction efforts on the barrack will hit completion soon. And still I fear that this mission will end in disaster...
