I know. Things spiralled completely out of my control. In the end, the burnout I'd been facing proved so bad that two thirds of the characters I had dotted across the net vanished in purges... I'd burned out so badly that the idea of logging in anywhere left me battling the urge to hide. Almost a year later and a half dozen false starts, I've managed to salvage one character; that's only happened in the last two weeks. The folk on that game have proven to be extraordinarily patient with me and the twitchiness I've been left with.
I've got one last task I need to do on B5 from a full-time staff perspective: hand the Wiz reigns over to Richeliu and step back into a server-side maintainer. The idea brings tears to my eyes; it screams 'failure' at me... but I have to accept that I'm well past my prime when it comes to the administration of an active MU*. I hope he can save the place, and get it going again. *fires Savitar up* I've waited too long, though. It's time to take that last hit...
