USS Relocator - Ship's Log, Stardate 102004.21
The data storage models are now completely installed, awaiting resource archival. Construction of woven materia storage bins was begun; the task was interrupted by a Code 3 summons from the AACC installation requiring First Officer McTernan's departure. To prevent over-utilization of existing storage structures, Commodore Surber authorized further procurement of said structures to be used in tandem with existing modules. Given the current structure required for petty cash disbursements, the Commodore accompanied the Relocator's Captain to sign for the supplementary modules. The additional modules have been delivered to the original complex on Harundale Prime; loading crews assigned to that installation are scheduled to re-commence data repackaging at 1000 hours local time.
USS Relocator - Captain's Log Supplemental, Stardate 102004.21
I'm filled with a deep sense of foreboding; to date, nothing associated with this project has gone according to plan. There has been near constant friction with my First Officer, due largely in part to divergent methods of prioritizing work. Thus far, the only true progress to be seen has been under my direct supervision. A continuance of this will doom this project to the position of bureaucratic nightmare normally only seen on one-man research projects after suffering the loss of the lead scientist. Hold space is at a premium; the Relocator was not a design intended to do bulk hauling. In order to use her as a bulk hauler, outrigger pods attached to the primary hull have been needed; Engineering is still wailing about marring the 'sleek lines' of the ship. For the first time since leaving the Academy, I find myself facing what may well be a 'no win scenario'. My solution thus far lacks the elegance I'm accustomed to...
