Jan. 2nd, 2004 01:59 amEver get a night where you end up feeling alone even when you've had nice folks and loved ones to talk with at various points? It's where I've landed tonight, and.... *sigh* It's probably just the faulty wiring in my head, but ... ah well.
I got told I was 'indecisive and vacuous' today, and then 'vapid' by someone else. I'm not sure I understand what's being used as the basis for these comments; I will freely admit to being erratic, moody, and tempermental... but vapid? Since both of the folks involved at least read my journal on a casual (non-friended) basis, here's what I have to say about that.
If you're not familiar with the acronym, the last two stand for 'And Die', and are very important parts of the sentiment. I would encourage you to do as instructed at your earliest possible convenience. Thank you.
Moving on. Yesterday featured a tiny bit of shopping goodness; while out questing for something for Megan (quest successful, thank you!), I passed by Torrid... and opted to wander in. My instincts proved very good indeed, and now I have a pair of black velvet mary jane flats, a pair of 'Ruby Gloom Doom Slippers', and some really cute 'Hello Kitty' slippers, The shoes were $14, and the slippers -together- cost me $7. :) So I get to start the new year with something comfy on my (far too large) feet. Megan proved to be so happy with the new guinea pig I'd found for her that she never batted an eye over my purchases.
I've got a sizable pile of videos and dvds to watch, now, and a few new things to read. Thank you Mistress, Masque, and Rowan.... it's all very wonderful, and Megan's still teasing me over the high pitched squeals. :p
Thank you to the various folks that have chattered with me tonight; I'm sorry iffn I seemed down or distracted. I'm really hoping this passes soon, because being like this is A) no fun for me and B) no fun for anyone else.
Maybe I'll go try and sleep.
