Hey! Always glad to help, E-chan. And there is a ... sort of limited startup-tone diagnosis. The thing that told me your motherboard wasn't fried: If you boot it up and hear, depending on model: 1) The first few bars of "The Twilight Zone" theme. 2) A horrific car crash. Then your motherboard has a severe hardware error. It's fragged. No tone + no video + Spin-up and idle == either bad PS or bad video, and we isolated which one it was neatly.
