You just solved what I should get you for your Birthday, Dear *hugs*
What is "Kill Bill?"
Take every martials arts movie you've ever seen, and add in every one you haven't seen yet, mix well with all the movies in the 'revenge' genre and toss it in a blender set on Attitude Puree`. Now, pour all of that into a still and boil off the action and attitude and collect it. Keep doing that until you have it distilled down to 190 proof, put it in a syringe and mainline it.
That's "Kill Bill Volume 1"
The stuff that's left in the still, all the story and explainations for what happened in volume one, condense that down until it's around 190 proof as well. Use another syringe and mainline it as well.
That's "Kill Bill Volume 2"
The characters are stereotypes that have been brewed down to their basic archetypes and Quentin Tarrantino works it all with master's touch. The story goes backwards and forwards and every direction except a straight line and it makes perfect sense that way. If you tried to re-edit it to start at the beginning and end at the ending, it would be absolutely horrendous.
But you'll get to decide for yourself on all of this. I'm a sucker for visuals and the pair of movies definitely provide a bunch of gut-punches in that department.
