Okay, this is a two parter:
  1. I need to make a permanent addition to the routing tables on the Mac. I've got it plugged in via the terminal command line, but I need to know where to stick it. The line I need to add is this:
    route add -net 192.168.100.1 192.168.2.13 255.255.255.0
Once that line was added via the command line, the wireless was completely up and functional. I just need to know how to make it permanent. :p
  2. Again on the Mac, I need to add a second zone in the DHCP server for the wireless side of the LAN. There's a reason the AP's addy is x.x.100.x ... and I want everything wireless to stay above it so I can keep the traffic straight. But again, I have -no- clue how to do it.

Hopefully the [livejournal.com profile] wibbblecutie can help me out, here. But I'm feeling triumphat because it freakin works at long last. I'll detail out the gyrations involved tomorrow when I'm a bit more coherent. It's not the most graceful of solutions, but it works.

Many many thanks to Kelly. He not only managed to step me through all the steps involved, he answered every dumdum question I asked. SOME of them were because I'm too damned stoned on pain meds to think. The rest are me just being an idiot. The lad's got the patience of two or three saints... he deserves a medal for tonight's efforts.

And I'm spent. G'nite.
