I guess my problem is that I expected something on par with at /least/ Alien: Resurrection or Alien³... hopefully better. The scripts that were rejected were infinitely superior, and avoided the messiness of trying to make it fit into known history. I will admit that I was cheering for old man Weyland when he whipped out inhaler and flare. Inevitably useless bravado, but it was nice to see the old boy go out with a bang.

And I STILL don't like the hybrid-to-host concept of the xenomorph's evolution.
