*sigh* Okay, it's just been a bad night. This is the third time I've edited this damned post, and I'm just plain and simple not going to do it again.

UPS just dropped off the USB drive enclosure.

About an hour ago, while frantically searching for.... *blinks* well, I was looking for SOMETHING, dammit... I found a 60gb Western Digital hard drive in a plastic clamshell. o.O After spending the hour making hesitant phone calls, it turns out that yes, the drive IS mine, and that it came from my brother-in-law as a 'thank you' for salvaging his home video files from the now dead machine in his basement.

I don't remember being given the drive. I remember very well working on the machine. I remember the 'cigarette of triumph' that Tommy Joe and I had when the last of the files copied over successfully. But I don't remember this. He gave me a 4port wireless AP that I can't friggin find, but I don't remember a drive being with it.
