My doctor appointment for today had to be rescheduled; I've got to take the Saturn to the dealership and have the trunk fixed. If it costs more than about $100, I'm completely screwed. As it is, the money that'll pay for it was funds earmarkd for furniture and such for the apartment.

Joy. Rapture. Ecstasy.

Anyway, I'm out of here. Hopefully I'll be back mid afternoon to get packed for the weekend so we can get out of here at a decent hour.

Away: Out Of The Loop

We're packed and nearly ready to leave. I'll be away until Sunday afternoon/early evening; this weekend is the retirement party for Megan's parents. While the timing really sucks, stacked as it is in the middle of the move, it's something we committed to months ago. Ah well.

Many thanks to Fuzzy and Crystal for the invaluable help yesterday in getting the bookcases and dresser up into the apartment, and to Crystal for the support and numerous side trips she's been shanghaied into doing over the last couple weeks. None of this would be happening if it weren't for her; we'd have been out on the street two years ago.

Anywho, I'll drop a jot here when we're back; I'm in the process of shutting the LAN down in case Ivan decides to screw about with power surges and blackouts. And off to the races we go.
