Apr. 10th, 2004 03:26 pmTaxes are done and filed. If the monies which come for my birthday are insufficient, there'l be money in returns that can be tapped.
I _WILL_ have my dishwasher.
In other news, the leak from the washing machine has been located and fixed, and I've almost got the laundry caught up... so that I can disconnect the washer and lay tile on that floor. The tile will need time to set before the washer can be put back on it; hopefully it won't end in me camping in the local laundromat.
The tile project won't start today, though. I'm just barely mobile; my left knee is swollen up like a softball. I still don't know what I did to it, either. *le sigh* I sat and folded my clothes as they came out of the dryer last night; with the exception of the two blouses still on my makeshift drying rack, all of my stuff is put away. Megan's stuf... well, there's a pile beside this desk that's almost three feet tall. All hers. Whatever.
I'm kinda stuck here at the house; Craig is due in here sometime to try and finish fixing the shower. That's the last of the leaks in here, so I can finally get things cleaned up properly. Megan's out running errands; the buckle she'd picked up for my jeans is too small, so finding a bigger one is one of her priorities. I'll likely be around today/tonight, but away most of tomorrow; I'll be having Easter dinner with mom, the older of my two younger sisters, and her family. No clue if Megan's going to go or not - she keeps doing the 'I dunno, it'll depend how I feel' bullshit. Aggravating, it is, yes.
At any rate, that's me. I've got at least two weeks before I'll know iffn the new anti-d is going to work, and in the meantime I'm trying to keep myself busy.
*hugs*
