Hrm. Okie. Iffn you say so. I'm still not sold on the complete reliance on an OEF, but what's a girl to do.
I spent a good part of the afternoon/evening down at the hospital with my grandfather. The awkward silences were mercifully few, and he's doing much better than what I'd expected. As of about 9am this morning, the doctors were certain that the leg could be saved. The Infectious Diseases folk were in, and declared the swelling/seeping/supurating mass to be non-communicable. He's alert, and still fairly mobile in spite of the huge dressing on his leg. He's been put on a heavy antibiotic regimen, and the docs seem to think that this is a another bout of 'cellulitis'. I'm honestly not sure what that is, but they seem to feel that the antibiotics will take care of it. Yay.
