I can't say I'm really surprised at this result, as I've known where my spot is for some time. It's why I'm amused by the Liberals calling me a conservative and vice versa. I think they're both missing the point, you see. :)

I'm hoping I'll be able to order the CPU fan & sink tomorrow. If all goes well it'll be here Monday or Tuesday... and provided the assembly goes as planned, I'll have a truly WoW-capable machine again by next Wednesday. I'm able to log in with this one, but any time I hit even a mild zone with mobile mobs the video starts stuttering so badly that it's unplayable. Kinda hard to kill critters when you lock up before you get to them, you know? Anyway, I'll quit babbling, since it's bed time.

Remember, those that are used to IMing with me, to block the 199183145 ICQ account; it's been hijacked and is trying to spread a rather nasty worm.

I've not fired up ICQ in forever, yet apparently the account is logged in and trying to send folks a worm-infected file. The password has been changed as well, leaving me locked out and unable to kill the account.

I took that quiz and it scored me as an "Economic Liberal", but I found some of the questions hopelessly biased, and the question where one of the answers was that the government should own television airwaves and 'we need a system like the BBC' absolutely incorrect. The BBC isn't owned by the government, it operates under Royal Charter, and is paid for by everyone in the country with a TV out of the TV license fee, which means they have no need for adverts and thus can make things which don't necessarily appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Sadly, love, to most Americans it means the same damned thing. :( Yes, a good many of the questions were slanted one way or another; I muddled through it as best I could and managed to peg myself right.

I came close to what I think I am... I'm more centrist than anything, though if I lean toward anything, it's liberal. (no 'fundy' conservative here).
